THE VISION
BEHIND IT ALL
The visionary behind Liberty Hall, Deb Giffin, brings over three decades of experience in real estate development, property management, and entrepreneurship. She views every industry as its own form of art and culture, and her passion lies in celebrating local entrepreneurs.
Whether they are just starting or well-established, Deb creates spaces where they can grow, collaborate, and share their stories. With ventures like Roux 66, she not only revitalizes physical spaces but also provides platforms for culinary talents, artists, and professionals to thrive.
Deb’s journey began at the age of 19 when she obtained her real estate license, quickly rising to success in her field. Her commitment to community, creativity, and entrepreneurship has transformed Liberty Hall into a cultural hub for Washington, MO. Deb’s belief in the power of collaboration and her drive to support local talent make Liberty Hall a beacon for growth and innovation. She is passionate about giving others the opportunity to showcase their unique businesses and helping them build connections that lead to long-term success.
DEB’S VISION FOR LIBERTY HALL
For Deb, Washington has always been a special place. It’s where she raised her family, planted roots, and built a life surrounded by community. Today, she’s giving back by creating a place where art, culture, and connection can flourish.
As both a board member of Rivertown Arts Foundation and the owner of Liberty Hall, Deb is committed to making the arts accessible to all. By offering the hall as a home for Rivertown Arts events at a steep discount, she’s helping remove barriers so more concerts, performances, and cultural gatherings can come to life right here in Washington.
Deb believes the arts bring people together, celebrate diversity, and spark creativity — and she dreams of Liberty Hall becoming a true cultural hub for the region. Her vision is simple: a place where families make memories, neighbors connect, and Washington shines even brighter through the arts.
CELEBRATING PEOPLE & PLACES THAT MAKE WASHINGTON SHINE
A Message From Deb
Washington has always been home for me. It’s where I raised my family, built friendships, and planted roots. This community has given me so much, and now, I feel a deep responsibility to give back in a way that enriches the lives of others.
For me, the arts are more than entertainment — they are a reflection of who we are and who we can become. They bring people together, spark conversations, and create a sense of belonging. The arts introduce us to new perspectives and celebrate the diversity that makes communities thrive.
That’s why I’m proud to serve on the board of Rivertown Arts Foundation and to open Liberty Hall as a home for cultural events. By offering this space, I hope to remove barriers and make it possible for more concerts, theater productions, art exhibits, and cultural gatherings to take place right here in Washington.
When I first connected with Rivertown Arts, I knew we shared the same vision: to make the arts accessible, vibrant, and central to our town’s future. Together, we can transform Liberty Hall Cultural Center into more than just a venue — it can become a cultural hub, a gathering place, and a beacon of creativity for generations to come.
My dream is simple: for Liberty Hall to be remembered as a place where our community came alive through art, music, and culture. A place where families made memories, where neighbors connected, and where the heart of Washington grew stronger.
I invite you to join us — attend an event, support Rivertown Arts, or simply come experience what’s happening here at Liberty Hall. This is our place to celebrate, to grow, and to dream together.
With gratitude,
Deb
